Crochet Tulip for Special Day!

It has been a month since my last posting, i was extremely busy. Starting with the week before Chinese New Year and a week after that. While i was 'away', i am actually working on my new book proposal. Hoping to finish it by end of February. I have made a 50% progress on the book but unable to finish it due to the holiday season (which means lots of interruptions) and also some personal matter. I have stop posting new patterns in my online store and now i am back. May need to work extra hours this month to keep things back in track.

This pattern of Tulip flower is supposed to be listed together with the Rose flower pattern. It was however delayed due the above mentioned reasons. Tulip was my favorite flower. Simple yet elegant. Sometimes things are meant to be like that. Tulip comes in various colors and pink is my favorite. It is a simple pattern to make. Hope that others will enjoy making it as much i do!

Happy Crocheting !

Its time to play some music!

No, i can't play a guitar. Born with little talent on music, however i still can enjoy 'making' a guitar. I always think that able to play with a guitar is cool. Especially nowadays, guitar comes in various colors and design. Really envy those people with musical talents.

For now i might as well enjoy seeing my crochet version of a guitar!

More Japanese Food Crochet - BENTO!

I was very much into Japanese food, not only it tastes good but it looks good too. My monthly fix of Japanese food would be always in Sakae Sushi, it is affordable and with lots of variety. My favorite was definitely salmon sashimi, unagi and chawanmushi. So i turn everything that i like into crochet version and put into a bento box! How nice was that to have everything that i like in a bento. Still finding the perfect time for my this month fix of Japanese food. Anyway, hope that you will enjoy Japanese food as much as i do!Happy Crocheting!

Crochet Cell Phone Holder Collection!

This is actually my first attempt to make a crocheted cell phone holder. Inspired by all those plushies cell phone holder in the market, i thought that it would be nice if i could make something different and special for my cell phone. Most of the cell phone holders nowadays are mass produced, therefore it will be available everywhere and most people would have bought it. It just lack of personal details and creativeness.

For this collection, i have come up with 6 different cell phone holder which consists of a toaster, a phone, microwave, strawberry, duck and TV. The holder will fit most of the cell phone.BTW, i guess most of you have noticed that the layout of my blog have been changed. New year would always be the best time to change and improve on what we are doing. At least that would be my main resolution for year 2010. To be better in what i am doing now!

Happy Crocheting everyone !

Take a Pic Using this!

I have been out of internet connection for the past one week. I couldn't check my mail, could not list my item, could not relist my item, could not reply my mail, unable to update my FB, in short life was miserable. Numerous calls have been made every other day to my service provider to beg them to restore the connection. As i expected, it has been a major 'problem' that cannot be solved in short period of time. I was informed that the fiber optic cable that connects to my home was some how 'broken' unknown of a reason. Was still wondering how it could happen...assuming that was the real problem. Now, thanks to miracle i am back on the internet again.

During my off-internet time, i found that i have plenty time on hand. This makes me realise that i did spend an large amount of time being online. So i crochet something that i always wanted but could not really afford to buy at this point of time.. a DSLR Camera. I always think that having such a camera is really cool. Yes, indeed it is cool. But the features of these cameras is much more cooler. Think of precise color in photos taken and the great intricate details these cameras can capture, makes it a must buy item in future.

For the time being, i will be satisfied with my crochet version of the camera and my mini tripod. Oh, by the way, this pic was taken by a Canon 7.1 Mp Digital Camera. My best friend and helper for now!

Happy New Year Everyone and Keep Crocheting!

Crochet your own sewing machine!

This pattern is dedicated to my late mother. She used to be a full time tailor as long as i can remember. Most of the time she will make men trousers and some blouses, but in free time she still makes some dolls clothes for my barbie. And that was 15 years ago, still miss those moments. Until now i still have all those dolls clothes with me, something that i will treasure forever. Maybe i will post some pictures on this blog someday.

My first crochet lesson is with my mother, she teaches me the basic of crocheting. But being a child at that time, i really does not have the patience to learn properly. My very first project was making a skirt for my Barbie doll. It really does not turn out like what i expected, but anyway practice makes perfect. From there i have developed my lifetime passion of crocheting and craft. Just a little regret for not mastering the art of sewing, i could not sew properly now.

This pattern is a simplified version of the sewing machine that are used by my mother. I choose pink color for the soft look of the sewing machine. Hope that people out there will enjoy making this as much as i do.
As usual all my patterns are available in my Etsy, Ebay, Ravelry and Dawanda Stores online.

Happy Crocheting!
